Angel Academe North: Unlocking Women as Angel Investors Part 2

This is the second in a series of events run by Angel Academe North called "Unlocking Women as Angel Investors".

This time we're delighted to to have Simon Thorpe as our guest speaker. Simon is the UK Business Angels Association Lead Investor of the Year award winner and he'll be sharing his eperience of angel investing with the group. As a regular investor in women-led technology businesses, board member and active supporter of Angel Academe, Simon is determined to hand over his title to a female investor next year.

During the session we'll also hear from Clare Nolan, co-founder of Tomorrows Medicines and how she successfully raised angel finance to fuel the company's growth. This will provide us with some interesting comparisons from each side of the angel investment journey.
